The Food Grade Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying water-based functional coatings onto paper and paperboard used in food-packaging applications. Depending on the selected formulation, the coating can provide resistance against grease, oil, water and moisture.

The machine works through a continuous roll-to-roll process consisting of controlled unwinding, precision coating, multi-zone hot-air drying and automatic rewinding. A Mayer Bar coating arrangement helps maintain consistent coating thickness across the web. Its PLC control system enables convenient adjustment of production speed, web tension, drying temperature and coating operation.

The machine is suitable for manufacturing coated paper for bakery products, fast-food wrapping, confectionery, takeaway packaging, paper cups and other food-service applications. Working width, drying length, coating stations and heating source can be customized according to the required production capacity.
