ELS Rotogravure Printing Machine About

The ELS Rotogravure Printing Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for precise multicolour printing on flexible packaging films, paper and aluminium foil. ELS stands for Electronic Line Shaft, where individual printing stations are electronically synchronized to maintain accurate speed, tension and colour registration throughout production.

The machine offers a printing width of up to 32 inches (approximately 813 mm) and is suitable for BOPP, PET, PVC, CPP, LDPE, paper, aluminium foil and laminated packaging films. Its electronically controlled drive system reduces mechanical transmission variation and provides smooth acceleration, stable web movement and better registration control.

Each colour station includes a gravure cylinder, impression roller, ink circulation arrangement and efficient hot-air drying section. The machine can be equipped with automatic tension control, electronic web guiding, pneumatic doctor blades, web video inspection and motorised registration controls. It is suitable for packaging converters requiring dependable production, repeatable print quality and easier operation.
