The China Clay Paper Colour Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying a uniform china clay, kaolin and water-based colour coating onto continuous paper rolls. The coating process improves paper smoothness, opacity, brightness, surface appearance and printability, making the finished paper suitable for printing, packaging, labels, stationery and decorative applications.

The machine performs automatic unwinding, controlled coating application, multi-zone hot-air drying and uniform rewinding in a continuous roll-to-roll process. Its Mayer Bar coating arrangement helps maintain consistent coat weight and even colour distribution across the complete web width.

A PLC-based control system enables convenient adjustment of machine speed, web tension, coating parameters and drying temperature. Automatic edge guiding maintains proper paper alignment during production. The coating width, drying length, working speed and heating configuration can be customized according to the base paper, coating formulation and required production capacity.
