Chromo Paper Coating Machine About

The Chromo Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying a smooth and uniform pigment coating onto continuous paper rolls. This coating improves the papers surface smoothness, whiteness, brightness, opacity, ink holdout and print quality. The finished chromo paper is suitable for labels, stickers, packaging, posters, advertising materials, stationery and other high-quality printing applications.

The machine works through a continuous roll-to-roll process comprising automatic unwinding, precise coating application, controlled hot-air drying and uniform rewinding. Its Mayer Bar coating arrangement helps maintain consistent coat weight and an even finish across the complete paper width.

A PLC-based control system enables operators to regulate coating speed, web tension, drying temperature and other production parameters. Automatic web guiding keeps the paper properly aligned during operation. Working width, coating stations, drying length and heating configuration can be customized according to the base paper, required surface finish and production capacity.
