About Metallic Paper Coating Machine

The Automatic Metallic Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed to apply a smooth, decorative metallic coating on paper, kraft paper, paperboard and specialty paper rolls. The machine can process compatible metallic-pigment, pearl-effect and protective coating formulations to produce silver, gold, bronze and other decorative surface finishes.

It incorporates automatic unwinding, web guiding, closed-loop tension control, precision coating, multi-zone hot-air drying, cooling and controlled rewinding systems. Its PLC and HMI touchscreen allows operators to regulate production speed, drying temperature, web tension and coating thickness conveniently. Precision-ground rollers help maintain an even metallic appearance across the complete web width. The coating method, working width, drying length and heating source can be customized according to the selected paper grade, coating formulation and required surface finish.
