The Kraft Paper Liner Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying functional and surface-enhancing coatings onto kraft liner paper and paperboard rolls. Depending on the selected formulation, the coating can improve surface smoothness, printability, bonding strength, moisture resistance, grease resistance and overall appearance.

The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process comprising automatic unwinding, precise coating application, multi-zone hot-air drying and controlled rewinding. Its Mayer Bar coating arrangement provides consistent coat-weight control across the paper web. The PLC control system allows convenient adjustment of machine speed, web tension, coating parameters and drying temperature.

Automatic web guiding maintains proper material alignment, while the controlled drying chamber provides uniform moisture removal. Working width, coating head, drying length, heating source and production speed can be customized according to the kraft-paper grade and required finished properties.
