The Biodegradable Waterproof Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying bio-based or biodegradable water-barrier coatings onto paper and paperboard rolls. Depending on the coating formulation, the finished paper can provide resistance against water, moisture, grease and oil while supporting the production of paper-based packaging products.

The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process consisting of automatic unwinding, controlled coating application, multi-zone hot-air drying and uniform rewinding. Its Mayer Bar coating system helps regulate the coating thickness and provides consistent coverage across the paper web.

The PLC-based control panel allows convenient adjustment of machine speed, web tension, coating parameters and drying temperature. Automatic web alignment helps maintain stable paper movement during production. The coating width, application system, drying length, heating source and production speed can be customized according to the paper grade and coating formulation.
