Paper Plate Waterproof Coating Machine About

The Paper Plate Waterproof Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying a uniform water-, moisture- and grease-resistant coating onto paper rolls used for manufacturing disposable paper plates, bowls and food trays. The machine coats the paper before it is converted into the final shaped product.

It operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process comprising automatic unwinding, controlled coating application, multi-zone hot-air drying and uniform rewinding. The Mayer Bar coating system helps maintain the required coating thickness and consistent coverage across the entire paper web.

A PLC-based control system allows the operator to regulate coating speed, web tension, drying temperature and other production settings. Automatic web alignment keeps the paper correctly positioned during operation. The machine can process suitable water-based, bio-based and food-packaging barrier formulations according to the required finished-paper properties.
