Art Paper Coating Machine About

The Art Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying a smooth and uniform pigment coating onto continuous paper rolls. The coating improves paper gloss, smoothness, whiteness, opacity, ink holdout and colour reproduction. The finished art paper is suitable for magazines, catalogues, brochures, posters, calendars, book covers, labels and premium packaging applications.

The machine performs automatic unwinding, precision coating application, controlled multi-zone hot-air drying and uniform rewinding in a continuous roll-to-roll process. Its Mayer Bar coating system helps maintain the required coat weight and consistent surface quality across the complete web width.

A PLC-based control system allows the operator to adjust coating speed, web tension, drying temperature and other production parameters. Automatic edge guiding keeps the paper aligned throughout the process. Working width, coating stations, drying length, heating arrangement and operating speed can be customized according to the base paper, required gloss level and production capacity.
