The Pastel Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying smooth and uniform water-based pastel colour coatings onto continuous paper rolls. It helps produce paper in attractive, soft shades with consistent colour distribution, improved surface smoothness and enhanced printability. The finished paper can be used for stationery, invitations, craft products, notebooks, decorative packaging and other specialty-paper applications.

The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process that includes automatic unwinding, controlled coating application, multi-zone hot-air drying and uniform rewinding. Its Mayer Bar coating system helps control the coat weight and maintain an even shade across the complete paper width.

The PLC-based control panel enables convenient adjustment of coating speed, web tension, drying temperature and other operating parameters. An automatic edge-guiding system maintains proper paper alignment during production. Machine width, coating arrangement, drying length, operating speed and heating system can be customized according to the required paper quality and production capacity.
