Water Resistant Coating Machine for Kraft Paper About

The Water Resistant Coating Machine for Kraft Paper manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed to apply a uniform moisture- and water-resistant barrier layer onto kraft paper and paperboard rolls. The coated paper can be used for packaging, wrapping, corrugated boxes, shopping bags and other applications where protection from occasional water or moisture exposure is required.

The machine operates in a continuous roll-to-roll format comprising automatic unwinding, controlled coating application, multi-zone hot-air drying and uniform rewinding. Its Mayer Bar coating head helps maintain the required coating thickness and consistent coverage across the paper web.

A PLC-based control system enables convenient adjustment of machine speed, web tension, coating parameters and drying temperature. Automatic web guiding keeps the kraft paper correctly aligned during production. The machine can process suitable water-based acrylic, polymer, PVA, wax-emulsion and customized barrier formulations.
