The Water-Resistant Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed to apply a controlled water-resistant barrier layer onto paper and paperboard rolls. The coating helps reduce water penetration and improves the papers performance in packaging, wrapping, labelling and other moisture-sensitive applications.

The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process consisting of automatic unwinding, precision Mayer Bar coating, multi-zone hot-air drying and uniform rewinding. Its PLC control system enables the operator to manage machine speed, web tension, coating operation and drying temperature conveniently.

An automatic web-guiding arrangement maintains proper paper alignment, while the controlled drying system provides consistent moisture removal across the working width. The machine can process suitable water-based polymer, acrylic, PVA and customized barrier formulations. Working width, coating thickness, drying length and production speed can be customized according to requirements.
