The Pulp Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying functional and surface-finishing coatings onto paper manufactured from virgin or recycled pulp. It can be used to improve paper smoothness, printability, brightness, surface strength and resistance to grease, water or moisture, depending on the selected coating formulation.

The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process comprising controlled unwinding, precision coating, multi-zone hot-air drying and automatic rewinding. Its PLC-based control system enables convenient adjustment of web speed, tension, coating operation and drying temperature.

The Mayer Bar coating arrangement provides controlled coating thickness and consistent application across the working width. Automatic web guiding maintains proper paper alignment, while the drying chamber provides uniform moisture removal. The machine can be customized according to paper GSM, coating chemistry, working width, drying requirement and production capacity.
