About Gravure Paper Coating Machine

The Automatic Gravure Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying a precise and uniform coating layer on paper, kraft paper, paperboard and other paper-based roll materials. Its engraved gravure cylinder transfers a controlled quantity of coating material, while the doctor blade removes excess liquid and helps maintain consistent coating GSM across the complete web width.

The machine incorporates automatic unwinding, web guiding, closed-loop tension control, gravure coating, multi-zone hot-air drying, cooling and controlled rewinding systems. Its PLC and HMI touchscreen enables convenient adjustment of machine speed, drying temperature, web tension and coating parameters. The machine can process compatible water-based and solvent-based adhesives, barrier chemicals, varnishes and functional coatings. Working width, gravure-cylinder specification, drying length and heating source can be customized according to production requirements.
