Gutka Pouch Coating Machine About
The Gutka Pouch Coating Machine applies a controlled barrier or functional coating onto paper, film and other approved flexible-packaging substrates. It is suitable for preparing roll material subsequently printed and converted into small sachets and pouches for pan masala, mouth freshener, spices and similar dry products.
The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process combining precision coating, automatic web-tension control, web alignment, multi-zone hot-air drying and smooth rewinding. Depending on the coating formulation and packaging structure, it can use gravure, reverse-gravure, comma-roll, Mayer-bar or other approved coating methods.
Compatible water-based barrier coatings can improve moisture resistance, oil and grease resistance, aroma retention, printability and heat-sealing performance. Solvent-based or specialty coatings can also be processed when the machine is equipped with the required exhaust, solvent-handling and flameproof safety arrangements.
The machine manufactures coated packaging material in roll form. Separate printing, slitting and pouch-making equipment is generally required to produce finished printed pouches.
