About Hot Melt Coating Machine

The Automatic Hot Melt Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for the precise application of hot-melt adhesive on paper, plastic film, aluminium foil, fabric, foam and non-woven materials. The machine melts solid adhesive in a temperature-controlled tank and transfers it uniformly to the substrate using a heated slot-die, roller or gravure coating system.

It includes automatic unwinding, web guiding, closed-loop tension control, heated adhesive feeding, precision coating, cooling and controlled rewinding systems. PLC and HMI controls enable convenient adjustment of coating speed, adhesive temperature, pump output, web tension and coating thickness. Since hot-melt adhesives set through cooling, a conventional solvent-drying chamber is generally not required. The machine provides clean operation, accurate coating GSM and reduced adhesive wastage. Working width, coating head, adhesive melter capacity and operating speed can be customized.
