Tobacco Pouch Coating Machine About
The Tobacco Pouch Coating Machine applies a controlled functional or barrier layer onto flexible packaging substrates supplied in roll form. It can process compatible paper, PET film, BOPP film and other approved packaging webs used for preparing printed tobacco-pouch and sachet material.
The continuous roll-to-roll system combines precision coating, automatic web-tension control, edge guiding, multi-zone hot-air drying and smooth rewinding. Gravure, reverse-gravure, comma-roll or Mayer-bar coating arrangements can be provided according to the substrate, coating viscosity and required coat weight.
Compatible coatings can improve moisture resistance, oil and grease resistance, aroma retention, print receptivity, surface protection and heat-sealing performance. Water-based barrier formulations are supported, while solvent-based coatings require an approved exhaust system, flameproof electrical equipment and suitable solvent-handling arrangements.
The machine manufactures coated packaging material in jumbo-roll form. Printing, slitting, pouch forming, filling and sealing are separate processes requiring additional equipment.
