The Paper Cup Waterproof Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying a uniform liquid-resistant barrier coating onto paper and paperboard rolls used for manufacturing disposable cups, bowls and food containers. Depending on the selected coating formulation, the finished paper can provide resistance against water, moisture, oil and grease.

The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process consisting of automatic unwinding, precision coating, multi-zone hot-air drying and controlled rewinding. Its Mayer Bar coating arrangement helps maintain consistent coating thickness across the complete paper width.

A PLC-based control system enables convenient adjustment of production speed, web tension, coating parameters and drying temperature. Automatic web guiding maintains accurate paper alignment, while the controlled drying chamber provides uniform moisture removal. Machine width, coating stations, drying length and heating arrangement can be customized according to the required cup-stock paper and production capacity.
