Polyester DG Lacquer Coating Machine About

The Polyester DG Lacquer Coating Machine is designed to apply a precise and uniform lacquer layer onto polyester and PET film rolls. DG refers to the direct-gravure coating process, in which an engraved gravure cylinder picks up a controlled quantity of lacquer and transfers it directly onto the moving film.

The machine combines precision gravure coating, automatic web-tension control, web alignment, multi-zone hot-air drying, controlled exhaust and smooth rewinding. It can apply clear lacquer, coloured lacquer, release coating, protective coating, adhesion primer and other compatible functional formulations.

Depending on its approved configuration, the machine can process transparent, printed, coloured or metallized polyester film. The coated material is suitable for flexible packaging, decorative film, labels, transfer foil, print-protection and other industrial applications.
