Water Base Paper Coating Machine About

The Water Base Paper Coating Machine manufactured by Mohindra Mechanical Works is designed for applying water-based functional and surface-finishing coatings onto paper and paperboard rolls. Depending on the selected formulation, the coating can improve printability, smoothness, gloss, surface strength and resistance to water, moisture, grease or oil.

The machine operates through a continuous roll-to-roll process comprising automatic unwinding, precision coating, controlled hot-air drying and uniform rewinding. Its Mayer Bar coating system helps maintain the required coating thickness and consistent coverage across the complete paper width.

A PLC-based control system enables convenient adjustment of machine speed, web tension, coating parameters and drying temperature. Automatic web guiding maintains correct paper alignment during production. The machine can process water-based acrylic, PVA, starch, pigment and barrier-coating formulations. Its working width, coating head, drying length and production speed can be customized.
